Ancient History/ The Sumerians: Father of Modern Civilization
No ancient history, and for that matter, the history of the human race as we know it, is complete without reference to the great sumerians. The summerian civilization and the people of sumer are without question, the greatest civilization and people of the last five thousand years.
It is entirely possible and most likely that, like it or not, the sumerian achievements and mental prowness stand alone, miles ahead of those of so-called modern man. We have no proof that the civilization of mankind before the great flood was less advanced than that which we find today and we have no proof to the contrary. What we do know is that the Sumerians built on that civilization, through the wisdom and teachings of Noah, Melchizedek, Gilgamesh and Nimrod. The Sumerian profound understanding of the nature of the universe, the solar systems and the secret mental powers that lies within can only be described as magical. Some would argue, quite convincingly, that the feat of the sumerian was indeed beyond human; That these people were not fully human, but a hybrid species of extraterrestrial proportion. No scientist, alive or dead ever fully discern the origin of the sumerian or the mystery of their departure from planet earth. What we can deduce is that they were indeed the forerunner of the Hebrew, the ancestors of the biblical being call Abraham in western and middle Eastern Deities.
The Sumerian Concept of God
There are many who would ridicule the sumerian concept of gods without fully understanding these concept from a mystical perspective. The truth is, we do not know wether or not the sumerian concept of god was based in reality or fiction. And we have no proof that our religious philosophies are superior.
The truth is that the Sumerian belief in religion was a practical and pragmatic matter. Their belief in a god or gods was a practical matter that yielded exact, measurable results. No if or but as often encountered in most other religious practices. They believed not because they had faith. They believed because they knew. They believed because they expected results. They believe because they got results. And why did they get results?
Well, the Sumerians were master magicians and mystic of extraordinary proportions. Many in the sacred orders credit King Solomon as the founder of the mystery school. Some credit the Egyptians. But the truth is that neither Solomon nor the Egyptians were responsible for this profound examination of the nature of reality. The Sumerian were, the real fathers of the mystical way: the Occult, the mystery school, the mystical philosophy.
About the argument that the Sumerian believed in paganism, false gods and so forth. Nonsense! Such arguments are without foundation. We are not privy to absolute truth. We do not know one way or the other (at least on the human level that is). The argument is even more preposterous when one consider that the entire story of creation was copied almost word for word from the Sumerians" account, then turn backwards! Yet it is this twisted account that we claim to be truth as oppose to the Sumerian account that we arrogantly and presumptuously contend is false and pagan.
Please read me well, I"m not implying that the Sumerian deity is right or wrong, all I"m saying is that we are not in positions to past judgment, particularly when we copy theirs and turn it backward, basing our beliefs on faith when theirs is grounded in knowingingness, practicality and measurable mystical results.
How do I know that the Sumerian deity was a practical one that got results?
After all, their beliefs in the various gods seem like fiction. Well, the answer is simple, the Sumerian are the greatest people that ever walked this plane with a human connection; the original leaders and practioners of the mystical way. And every man and woman of understanding knows and can attest: the mystical way is scientific and gets results in accordance to the natural laws of the universe. If the summerian practice what they preached, then by deduction, they got results.
Does this mean that I am Anti-Christain or anti-Judaism or Anti Muslim and so on? Nonsense! Absolutely not! I'm not against others' religions. Religion is a personal thing and every one has the right to express his or her own personal faith, as long as he or she don't infringe upon the rights of others. I take exceptions when others try to tell me who to believe in and what to believe, based, furthermore, on their faith that might be further grounded in reality or rooted in fiction.
Oh yes, I will take religious council, but only from the man or woman whose beliefs are rooted in reality. Whose theories of a godhead is not just based on faith but one that can be proven by inductive reasoning as demonstrated by verifiable manifestation and scientific evidence. We do not have a legitimate right to question or ridicule the Sumerians' when "ours'" is not as such but based on blinded faith and unquestioned assumption.
Am I a proponent of the antichrist? Hogwash!
Some claimed that the Summerians were not fully human but partly extraterrestrial and spiritual beings. We have no way of knowing the truth, one way or the other and so I will neither support or condemn this view. We can all agree however, that mankind is a spiritual species.
People who talk about the antichrist must first understand the concept of Christ and the Christ consciousness. It was the Christ consciousness that the Sumerian all strive to attain and not the evil concept of an antichrist. The word was mot invented back then but the concept of God within and through the universe was well understood.
As Earnest Holmes rightly put it, in The Science of Mind
"Christ in man means the idea of sonship, the perfect Man as He must be held in the Mind of God. Christ within each and all."
Who is the Christ? According to Holmes,
" The word of God manifest in and through man. In a liberal sense, the Christ means the Entire Manifestation of God and is, therefore, the Second Person of the Trinity. Christ is Universal Idea, and each one "puts on the Christ" to the degree that he surrenders a limited sense of life to the Divine Realization of wholeness and unity with Good, Spirit, God"
If I am branded an anti-christ for the views that I expressed on this page, then so was Earnest Holmes, The Sumerians, King Solomon, the Nazarine himself and millions of other who believe in the power Christ consciousness that lies within.
